Strategy-Focused Coaching

 

Strategy-Focused Coaching integrates individual and organizational change into a single effort. This approach to coaching is centered around including the leader within the organization’s context and business needs. It is often used when the client organization sees a gap in its leader’s strategic thinking and execution capabilities and needs a coach to promote clarity around how to drive business objectives and effect the necessary changes.  It is an effective means to help leaders align their individual Leadership Development needs with the organizational strategy & objectives for which they are responsible.  In this way, the organization is dealing simultaneously with two different challenges, providing a good return on investment.

Clients Strategy Focused Coaching is often used when the organization is facing significant challenges and change to remain competitive, and requires a correspondingly greater emphasis on their leaders to perform and act strategically. It is also a good approach to consider when past coaching efforts centered around individual effectiveness have not impacted the business in measurable ways.
